Open Letter To Oskar Deutsch : RECOGNISE THE DUTY YOU HAVE

Mr President,

The eyes of both the Jewish and secular world are certainly watching you.

Which direction are you going to take?

The right path and assist in the reunion of a bereft Mum and her two young sons by listening to your Yetzer Hatov, your good inclination?

The wrong path and do nothing by listening to your Yetzer Hara, your bad inclination?

This is a defining moment in your presidency. You are being tested as to what will be your legacy.

If you do the right thing, you will always be remembered as a person who had the courage, confidence and self motivation to go against the status quo and put right an unconscionable miscarriage of justice.

"Never, never be afraid to do what's right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society's punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way", a quote attributed to the late Martin Luther King.

What do you think this long tragic separation has done to the well-being of two little boys who were ripped from their mothers arms, never mind the mother herself, under what would appear false pretences?

If you don't act now in the best interests of both Benji, Sammy and their Mum, you will always be remembered as the Complicit President denying two small, young children the care, love and protection of their mother during the most formative years of their lives, and what's more, continuing to do so.

The damage that this might have caused is immeasurable. So let us see it coming to an end, now.

Recognise the duty you have.

A very concerned mother

Mrs Sarah Taylor
