Dear sir,
I am joining everyone today to speak for Beth Alexander and for her children. Everyone knows Beth here in London and everyone believes that she and her boys have suffered the biggest miscarriage of justice, and will do so for as long as this situation goes on. I fail to understand why the Vienna Jewish community doesn't feel the same way.
I don't know what it is you can do for this situation. But as the leader of the community in Vienna, you cannot walk away from this terrible injustice committed on your soil. I ask you to be worthy of the position you are in and to take a stand for the real victims.
I don't know what you have already maybe done, but whatever it is, you cannot tell yourself that it is enough. The children will ask questions when they come of age. You will be among the people who will be made to answer them as to why you have failed them in helping them reunite with their mother.
Perhaps you will care, perhaps you will ignore this all. I pray to Hashem that He opens your eyes and guides you to do the right thing, because who knows if it was not for this moment that you have risen to your position of leadership…
